Crum Art comprise of Betsy, Caya, Tavi and Carl Crum celebrates the diverse beauty and character of the Lone Star State, capturing the iconic landmarks, vintage signs, and unique essence of Texas. From the vibrant streets of Austin and San Antonio to the rugged beauty of Big Bend National Park, the collection spans beloved destinations like Marfa, Waco, Bryan & College Station, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and West Texas. Each piece tells a story of Texas quirky charm and enduring spirit, making it a perfect homage to the state we call home. Creating Cool Art for your home is our goal.
The Crums blend their shared passion for art, film, and all things Texas and Western; combined with their love of film, and all the quirky, kitschy, and uniquely Texan things our state has become known for over the past few decades. Betsy Crum
This Texas Artist hails from the teeming metropolis of an East Texas town you’ve likely never heard of (Kennard, Texas). When she isn’t creating Texas decor and Western wall art, you can find her collecting Cool Texas art and at art shows all over the Lone Star State. Betsy has also shown her work at just about every art show between Fort Worth and Houston and Austin; Dallas and San Antonio and everywhere in between, including Marburger Farm and The Arbors in Round Top. Betsy has been making and selling her work for over 20 years.
CAYA CRUM
Caya Crum currently attends TCU and is a Texas artist from Fort Worth, Texas. To create her artwork, she uses a variety of mediums from watercolor and acrylics to latex paint and film photography.
In addition to her Texas and Western. interior wall decor, Caya has been commissioned to paint large scale murals for numerous businesses, and non-profits; and has created artwork for fundraising initiatives. Additionally, she has worked with hundreds of individuals on custom work.
Caya attended the prestigious summer study program at NYU in 2023 and studied in Florence in 2024.
CARL CRUM
Carl Crum, grew up in old Austin and began selling 3D photomontages of the vintage signs and landmarks of Austin at the grand old age of 14. When he isn’t making art, you can find him hiking in Big Bend National Park or traveling the world with his wife and children. In addition to his success as a highly collected print artist, Carl is also a documentary filmmaker and received numerous Emmy awards, including those for his PBS - Southwest Airlines documentary series One Square Mile. Carls goal is to create meaningful content that helps people live better lives.
TAV CRUM
Exceptionally talented and the youngest of the Crum bunch. Tav’s most recent endeavors includes short films and acting classes, in addition to her work she is creating with us at Crum Art. Her most recent watercolor “Ranchers Breakfast: Eggs and Bacon”, will be available online and at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo this January 17 - February 8, 2025 and the Houston Rodeo March 4 - March 2, 2025.
